REFEREE OPPORTUNITIES
Referee Commissioner:
WCBA fully intends to partner with certified referees combined with up and coming referees in training. We understand that quality referees can make a difference to the overall basketball experience of all those involved in the league. We have partnered with a Referee Commissioner to facilitate our ability to field skilled referees and also to provide support for our training program. We fully intend to provide developmental assessments and training which will lead to continuous improvement.

Referee Opportunity details:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Referee orientation
- Live training opportunities
- Developmental feedback and coaching throughout the season
- If selected you will receive a referee shirt and whistle
- Competitive and scaled rates offered based on the quality of refereeing, implementation of feedback received and improvements made and level of experience, as determined by WCBA staff members.
- Referees must adhere to the code of conduct as defined by WCBA and serve as positive role models to our youth community in support of our mission.
